At the Punt Stop

I walk over this little bridge quite often with the dog and have often thought I'd like to photograph the people waiting to go on a punt tour but the POV is no good at all. However from our vantage point on the river I liked how they look like they're waiting for a bus. I also like the yellow balloon, the red tights and that little dog (Italian greyhound maybe?) All the shots after this are under umbrellas as the heavens opened - a few made me laugh with odd expressions and the dog having a fun, if confused, time. I may post more at a later date.
great shot!

@clairelizteuber Punts are long, flat bottomed wooden boats and you stand on the back and steer them with a pole. Designed for use on shallow rivers. They are famous in Cambridge and you can be chauffered down the river in them or have a go yourself - my daughter, Rachel, has been working as a chauffeur in the holidays. These people are waiting for a chauffeur tour (given by the man with the bare feet I imagine). I posted another picture of punts on Wednesday and caused quite a bit of confusion then too! http://365project.org/judithg/365/2011-08-24
