I nipped into Anglesey Abbey gardens after our walk as they have a spectacular dahlia bed. Unfortunately, they had it mostly roped off - luckily I had my zoom lens on. The curved bed is planted in a rainbow of sorts with yellows at one end going through oranges, reds, pinks, purples. There's nothing subtle about dahlias so sorry for all the clashes of colours here!
Judith , have you slipped into that habit you once had of inadvertently giving your images song titles ? The Kaiser Chiefs will love this :)
Seriously though ..a superb collage of colour , capturing the last colours of summer :) ...Is Angleset Abbey part of the uni...if ssso this would be 'a college collage'....hey I've just given you a photo for another day......a collage of cambridge colleges ....:) ...i look forward to it
@phil_howcroft Glad you noticed! I think I'm getting a bit more up to date with this title!! Mind you - you do a bit of Kaiser Chiefs everytime you do 'Ruby'. Anglesey Abbey isn't a college but you're right - I could do a college collage!!
No clashes as far as I'm concerned. Simply a beautiful collage - all the different colours, angles and heads of the dahlias give a stunning effect. Not attempted collage yet, any tips gratefully received!
