For a bus home? Probably not - he had his blanket on the floor. He smiled at Monty and made me sad.
I would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to all you lovely people who have commented on and or Faved my misty wood. Blimey - that response was amazing! Adam is mightily relieved and taking credit for me being in the right place now. Some more trees may appear in the near future.
You deserved your fame yesterday, and your story made me quite breathless. You were obviously meant to be there. This is a wonderful, but sad portrait. Someone on 'pause for thought' this morning suggested that if your resolve to give something up for lent is beginning to fail, then you could consider stopping ignoring homeless people. He suggested giving them or smile or a few kind words. It certainly made me think.
@busylady I felt even worse as I would normally have had a chat with him about the dog but I thought for a terrible moment that Monty might cock his leg on his blanket and dragged him away. Sounds like an excellent 'Thought for the Day'.
Oh dear Judith this is a sad face & his body language is very dejected. Smiled at Monty....., wonder if he ever had a dog & warm home ? You only have to think how we hurry home to our fires & warm bed to feel sorry for those so unfortunate.
Well deserved praise yesterday & I'm sure Adam is taking full glory !!!
This street scene speaks volumes. His posture says a lot about his plight in life. An emotional photo. And as for yesterday's favs... your photo was magnificent!
@maggiemae There is a day hostel just round the corner. And another group were already drunk and turning rapidly from jovial to aggressive. But this poor chap looked so sad that the drunk option seemed better...
sad shot of someone on the street - and the mental health issues of so many of those I've chatted to when they've been in the street (or church or church grounds) have been really worrying
Well deserved praise yesterday & I'm sure Adam is taking full glory !!!
