Just a quick shot from today's Olympic trip because I'm shattered!! Very early start and awake all night waiting for the alarm and up and down feeling dizzy again. Anyway - I'm not dizzy when vertical though I think the Spanish goalie may have been after this penalty corner from Australia. I'll be amazed if the Aussies don't take gold - they gave a hockey masterclass. Not the sharpest shot this - it was pretty dull this morning - I will play with settings on Friday when I'll be a bit nearer the action & have @sparkle to pester. But I am chuffed that the ball is that yellow blob just heading into the net. I sat next to a lovely Spanish couple but the most vocal supporters were Belgian and the most prevalent were Dutch (who's team was pretty pedestrian but stole a win in the end). Shame we can't get tickets for GB but it's less stressful watching other teams!
Oh well done, Judith, for making the mammoth effort to even get there!
Love the bright pink and blue and at first sight this looked like miniature hockey players! (Less stress is best, I think.)
Just being there would do me Judith! I though Britain were brilliant the other night, I hope you didn't see better today !!! Sorry you aren't up to the mark still, feeling dizzy is a horrible feeling...something wrong with your middle ear maybe?
Oh great action shot Judith! Apparently they are calling this the Smurf Turf! Wonderful colours and a wonderful memory. We go the stadium on Friday and Saturday :-) Hope that horrible diziness goes away, that is a ghastly feeling.
Really cool overview of the action. How cool that you can be there to watch it all live! I just saw the German guy win silver in men's all around - pretty exciting! Hope your dizziness goes down soon!
@happypat@Cherrill@jannaellen The dizziness is only mild and goes off quickly - it's just a bit of a pain. Hoping the physio will get it sorted tomorrow.
Just thought Judith, my nephew had a dizziness bug a few weeks ago, it lasted for two weeks but did clear up in the end. Perhaps it's what you have? Very unpleasant.
super shot Judith...my fave sport so far is the beach volleyball.....not for the obvious 'blokey reasons' I may add...the setting of the stadium is magnificent...horse guards parade, it looks amazing under flood lights, the athletes are pretty cool in their shades, the rallies they have are awesome, the crowd seem to pick a team and cheer 'em on...press your red button to watch !
