Reminded me of 'A Street Cat Named Bob' by James Bowen.....I have just finished reading it yesterday, quite an eye-opener of a homeless person striving for survival.......with the help of Bob the cat!!
There are even more homeless people than ever and we consider ourselves a civilised society! I saw a program on homelessness on TV recently which really saddened me. These are challenging times and Shelter was my chosen charity this Christmas. I would rather give a donation than send cards to my work colleagues so this is what I do each year.
Poor fella, he must be so cold, this is an awful thing to see in 21 century and with money been spent on on stupid things by the governments ( my opinion)
@cookie123 And after seeing the number of police/ambulance people required to look after the revellers last night & the cost involved it seemed even more wrong.
Oh, my...reality bites. A somber reminder that the New Year offers little hope of prosperity and new beginnings for some...so many issues to be addressed.
