I love the emotional impact of this shot. At first I thought you took a B&W shot and colorized the roses, but on more careful inspection I don't think so. Great title, too.
@saycheese Believe it or not this shot is SOOC. I thought about cropping it but I didn't want to lose the black fence behind her. The roses are the pink that you see. It was raining (again) and my goal was to drive around and take an outside picture without getting out of my car!! She caught my eye as I was driving through a cemetery so I took a few shots of her and liked what I saw. Then I did end up getting out of the car (and getting wet) to look on the stone and see if it was a young girl's grave - but there weren't any dates on the stone - only some initials with a last name. Since the flowers look new I figured that someone has not forgotten her. . .hence the "Not Forgotten" title.
such an awesome shot..i like the dew drop on her chin,and if they were fresh roses..but i am getting picky and you were right about the black fence brings out the grades of colour in the statue..yes luv it...
