My thought behind this picture is to make you wonder what color the dress is and what the rest of the dress/and the girl wearing it look like . . . picture taken at a College Dance Competition in Madison WI. The dancer wearing it took multiple first place ribbons home.
Great shot, composition and nicely done in b&w. I'm thinking her dress was a shade of blue. Pretty skirts and bet it looked lovely when twirling around to a waltz.
I guess the dress is purple.
