@farmreporter Thank you for the kind comments -- however, this picture was taken in the auto mode. I have not moved out of the auto mode yet . . . still learning other things. I took another picture of this same flower 2 days later and the background is very colorful due to the fall colors of bushes and plants. Alot of my shots are kind of "by accident". The best way to learn is to take LOTS of pictures and when you see something you like try to reproduce it! Have fun!
