Recently a friend gave me a very old picture of me with my sisters - and I photographed it tonight for my one night stand selfie shot. I do not like to have my picture taken but I will try to do a real selfie some day. Oh - and by the way . . . I am the cute bald one in the middle who was smart enough to smile when the photographer took the picture!
delightful smile! Selfies are an edge for me, too. A friend of mine took selfies for a year (did not upload them they were only for her) and learned a lot. Some of them weren't actual photos of her body, but of something that represented her. Or of her shadow. You can also photograph feet or hands or.....many ways of interpreting "selfie"!
No - I haven't quit . . . but it has been so cold here that I haven't gotten out to take any pictures. I am on my third year of 365 so I do not make myself take pictures every day - but all my pictures on my calendar have to be taken during that month. I seem to be slowing down on ideas for pictures right now and am going to work on setting up a room inside my home for portraits. I have this weekend off work and will get out and get some new pics to post! Thanks for noticing and encouraging me to get busy!
