Trying for a long exposure shot reflecting on the water . . . not quite right though. Too dark out, too long of exposure, too short of an exposure ?? Any suggestions for improvement appreciated.
Very pretty. Possibly too long of an exposure, causing the lights to blow out a bit, and maybe if you were a little higher you would have gotten a little more of the reflection you were looking for...but maybe not. Really I think it is very nice, and if you didn't ask for critique I probably wouldn't have even noticed these little things.
@debrac I wanted someone to help me with these shots. My first mistake was not having a tripod with me . . . and I am still learning how to use any kind of setting other than manual . . . I think I was a little too late in the evening also - next time I will start earlier and take shots every few minutes. I think that you are right about taking this shot from a higher angle - I hadn't thought of that. Thanks for all your help - I will let you know when I get the next shot - hopefully it will be better!
