Blue Jay

I want to get a picture of this blue jay up in a tree but this is the best I have of it so far - I will keep trying . . . I am really enjoying the challenge of photographing birds.

Beautiful shot of the Blue Jay. They are one of the prettier birds but sort of aggressive. I think my bird is a Mockingbird.

The bluejays are frequent visitors at my feeder... we must live in the same part of the US... same birds! I live in Southwest Virginia, in the Appalachian Mountain region.

@calm I am not close to you -- I live in northwest Illinois -- almost in Iowa or Wisconsin - but it is a pretty bird
