@adambralston It's not a tilt shift lens, but a miniaturization setting on my camera. Thanks, Adam! I love this effect, but don't want to use it too much. Ha ha! ;)
@adambralston Thanks, Adam! If you go on youtube and search for tilt shift video, you will see some amazing videos using this technique. It's fascinating and mesmerizing! ;)
That SX40 is amazing. It does so many cool things for a PowerShot. I had the S400 and the S450 (Digital ELPH) at one time or the other. It's what sold me on Canon.
@adambralston Thanks, Adam! Yes, I've been really happy with my camera. I've been saving for about a year to get a true DSLR with a couple of good lenses. I want to do more with photography, but time and money limit me right now. :)
@juliedduncan Time = money. SO, the more money you have, the more time you have. The less money you have, the less time it takes to save it?
My logic might be wrong on that.
I hear you. I want a 60D, or really a Mark III, but as for now I have my Rebel XT. I checked the stats for camera on this 365 project. There are only something like 200 photos from a Rebel XT on this whole site... 113 of them are mine.....
BUT, it's not the camera that makes the image, it just takes the image. The artist is you.
