Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Michigan. This is a view of PART of the dune from the observation deck. Almost straight down to the Lake. (On a side note, imagine how massive the glaciers must have been to create the Great Lakes and the amazing dunes that skirt them! I was born and raised here, and it still blows my mind!)
@vstap Thanks, V! Traverse City had a lot of trees down, and Grand Haven was devastated. So many trees down they had to close the road in and out for a time to get it all cleared to the side. They'll be a long long time cutting up and hauling off trees. Really a shame. I feel for them. :(
