@blueberry1222 interesting about writing out the lyrics, i used to do that with all my favorite songs when i was a teenager, to get right inside them, you can definitely make out the words better when these two sing them, i think people can get a bit lazy enunciating when its their song! occasionally i prefer a cover, some people are better songwriters than singers, but if its just karaoke it doesnt work. , I quite like their dark dont hide it, but its taken on a pleasant country vibe :) who was the female singer with Magnolia electric Co? sometimes her voice got on my nerves but seemed a good fit to Jason.
@blueberry1222 i like this version by Jason, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HiFAzp3vwEo when he sung it with the band i think it pushed it beyond his vocal ability competing with the loudness of the instruments, and the phrasing is good in this one , been good really listening after reading the lyrics , it was never one of my favorites. but i get it now!
@kali66 He would collaborate with guest artists, so I'm never sure which females he used, but they all seem to kinda have a similar annoying voice that apparently appealed to his ears!
