Lake Hawea
The huge dynamic range was playing havoc with my photos in the Mountains, also the blue haze was very evident, perhaps a polarising filter may have helped?

With such a problem, it could be solved by bracketing the exposures and then combining them using High Dynamic Range (HDR) software.

Lovely pano. As above HDR would solve your issues I think.

Lake Hawea can be so calm and beautiful! I agree with HDR or maybe brightening the shot with an edit! Picmonkey can do it!

I often shoot HDR hand held. It works ok as long as you keep an eye on the slowest shutter speed.
