Saw my friend again today she had her wings open, must have been feeling the cold as she didnt move when i touched her. Apparenty they are npt known to breed here and get blown across the Tasman.

This is a beautiful capture of a beautiful butterfly -- and what detail you captured in the eyes and face when you look closer. The song was so nostalgic to me because my husband used to sing it (he sang often at home and songs of this era especially). Thanks for including the link.
