Cobblestones & Starlings

These little Starlings are pecking at food in the middle on the main street of Burlingame, KS which is all cobblestone.

I love it, I think the cobblestones add interest to the shot and the birds are cool in their dark color and speckles, I don't recall seeing those kind of birds where I live

They are definitely starlings. European starlings, also known as Common starlings. A very invasive species in certain areas.

@kiwiflora Yikes, Starlings invasive! It's interesting you say that, because in my neck of the woods, I've also got some gorgeous shots of invasive weeds such as the musk thistle, etc.
