So, I took more snow photos today, but none of them inspired me. In fact, I'm just really bummed because I had to bow out of a wonderful performance opportunity at a conference in Florida due to events out of my control. One of which was the second snowstorm to strike our area in less than a week, leaving us trapped at home all day. So, I pulled out this photo I took last April. It's one of my favorites, revealing the sunrise which is reflected on the purple raindrop stemming from a peculiar little wildflower called the Common Spiderwort. I spotted it during a walk out in the country by my home. It reminds me that sometimes you have to search hard for the beauty in the common, or even undesirable. Here's hoping that something good will come out of my disappointment today.
Oh Kareen this is stunning, I love everything about it. The purple in the drops and the blue in the buds are really set off by the frame you have added. I don't usually go that much for framing, but this I think just lifts it - well done. Life is full of peaks and troughs - you will come up again and something nice will happen to you.
