I just finished composing a blog about a beautiful relationship that developed over a five-day period between me and a 91-year-old woman who lives with dementia. This photo makes me think of her.

A beautiful sunset. Your blog was amazing to read and you display such warmth and empathy to Lily. My mother has Alzeimers and has been in care for the last year and I have been so very impressed by the skill, professionalism, warmth and understanding from the people involved with her care. A very special group of wonderful people.

Your photo and story really touched me. It's wonderful that you do what you do! My Mom lives with me; I am fortunate in that she does not have dementia but is in relatively poor health and we're both aware of how short time can be. Thank you for sharing.
