Hoot! Hoot!

The Hoot Owl is also known as the Barred Owl. I was so thrilled to spot this while driving home from Wichita. This spotting took place along the Flint Hills National Scenic Byway, Highway 177 between Cassody and Strong City, Kansas. Been waiting for an owl spotting for over a year now! Hoot hoot! :)
