In my neck of the woods, they might be attacking the hawk. Little birds like crows and mockingbirds attack a hawk to move him out of their nest area.

We also see mockingbirds and kingbirds chase away hawks. These are beautiful silhouettes. Is that an Osprey with a fish or a Red-tail with a mouse?

@dianeburns @espyetta @mbemis Thanks for your comments. Actually, there are three birds chasing after the hawk, which I'm assuming is a Red-Tailed Hawk. The three birds were on a telephone wire. And as soon as the hawk took flight, they took flight after him.
