Yes! Love this. We had these flowers growing outside the preschool classroom windows and the children loved watching the goldfinches swaying on the flowerheads
Sweet., Kareen. You've captured the little finch in such a great pose. The only thing that bothers my eye with this shot is the bit of that plant sticking into the picture from the right edge of the frame. I think cropping or cloning that out would look better. Otherwise, it's very nice.
@mcsiegle Thanks for your input, Mary. I was doing a bit of experimenting with the cropping. Ordinarily I wouldn't crop a bird shot like this, but since he was looking down and to the right, I thought I'd try it since the other bird shot on my default page is cropped pretty tightly.
SUPER shot. Great compositional elements, and lots of strength in the lines. I think it is slightly underexposed if you don't mind me saying. Could use a little boost. I think it is a Goldfinch.
