Yesterday I was at the PPGs (Prince Phillip Games) with the Eastwind Pony Club (of which I am an honorary member) and caught some pictures of the kids competing in some of the games. They were sure the ponies would not have to be led, but ponies being ponies, they had to be led in all events.
Ellen took part in the pony club mounted games once but her team were not very good. Because she had the fastest pony she was the final rider to go each time, but in every race all the other teams had finished before she even started. Now she sticks to Showjumping.
Yeah...I noticed that they had the best rider as their final rider....she was frustrated because by the time it got to her, the other teams were finished. She will be going up to the next level next year. They ended in second place anyway....lots of penalties for the other teams.
