Bird migration

Today I was at the Little Qualicum estuary. I got there early and the comings and goings were so interesting. Unfortunately, I was not close enough for a good quality picture, but I thought this shot of two hungry bald eagles checking out the feast in front of them, and the tundra swans (who were the only birds unconcerned) plus a couple of seagulls (who scatter every time the eagles take flight) was the most interesting :)
No way!!!! This is unbelievably amazing!!!

@luvmynynix @m_olson Thanks ladies! I loved being there watching them, but I could not get close enough. There are so many photo opportunities here! But because I work, I can only get out on the weekends.

@joemuli @dh Thanks! There were flocks arriving and departing all morning...so much activity. The herring spawn is next month and is apparently really something to see.....can't wait!! :)
