When you are a Golden Retriever one of the things owner (in our case care giver as she is a weekend dog who we look after) is to brush them

We have a black lab and he drops heaps of hair even after i comb him.

@peterlgrave Its a small price to pay for the love of them. We use to have a white dog which like your dog had white fur everywhere in the house.
