Because sometimes you feel like you're drowning. Life is go, go, go and there isn't any time for the things you want to do... just the ones you must do.
Thankfully, you ultimately just shrug it off and appreciate the little things and the little moments that make your day. So it's all good.
I love this! the softness, the light, the mood, the expression are all so great. It's a really emotive image especially with your thoughtful words too. I'm not sure what's going on under her chin though. Your chin? Your profile pic confuses me. Is this a self portrait?
Very cool shot....it really does give the impression that you are underwater, or in some dark place with your hair flowing up like that! Fortunately, these moments when we feel like we are drowning under the weight of all the things we have to do does not last forever, and we come up for air and into the light!
@panthora thank you Osia, and yes I agree! :) @carla42 thank you :) and under my chin (yes it's mine ha!)? You mean the lower right? It's just my shoulder... Lol "your profile pic confuses me" :) :) probably because I'd taken it as a reflection in an iron ;)
Great light and I like this soft hue all over it, giving this underwater feel. The words that come with it, enhances the feel. Very well done. May every day have a little "bonheur" for you.
@kerosene O I see it now! They're holes around the side. I've always read this image as being of a black lady with curly hair wearing a hood! How wrong could I be!!
@kerosene I didn't mean your shoulder. On my phone this image is pure and gorgeous but on my laptop from your top lip to your shoulder there's a wash of light patches and grain. I loved the image anyway but seeing it on my phone and presumably the way most people have seen it it's absolutely gorgeous don't know what's wrong with my computer.
@carla42 haha that's amazing about my profile pic, now that you described it, I'm seeing what you saw! No wonder it was confusing! :) Also it's funny because I did not see that lighter patch / grain before but I'm currently logged on to a different computer and I do faintly see it... user error, I mis-edited! :(
