Grace and Disgrace

What a piece of work that guy was. The perfect proof that as attractive as someone may be, their personality could turn them ugly; this proves to be true for animals as well! His plumage was beautiful but I'm sorry to say this was one selfish, mean-spirited swan. You wanna play it that way, bird? Well let me post this shot of your posterior.
Excellent shot...and that's coming from someone who's never really liked swans

@graemestevens thank you Graeme - and I've never really liked them either :)

Fantastic picture. I love it. Fav.
Looks like you witnessed the interesting and strong territorial behaviour of the mute swans. Having the wings up in a position like in your picture means *back off* (for others swans and humans).

I love this. In my opinion, swan shots can be a bit boring. But not this one!

In spite of being a jerk, he's got a gorgeous backside. I am loving those feather, the exposure and sharpness are stunning.

Love this different, delicate shot the feathers are terrific. Swan's are always a bit arsey in my opinion.
