Nighttime overcast skies light up with an orange color in Washington D.C. I noticed this shot leaving work on this night and used a parking meter as my tripod.
@rytoonz Thanks, Bob. It's not a color you expect to see in the sky. I've probably ignored this sky many times in the past, but I'm much more observant of late due to my photo project. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with today's snow with rain chaser. It's a sloppy mess with deep snow out there.
@khawbecker Take advantage and get some good snow photos. This chance does not come very often for you. OR with climate change the mid Atlantic states will become the new frozen tundra.
@rytoonz I would normally jump at the chance for snow photos. I managed to get an outdoor photo today, even though it was raining on top of the snow. I got caught in the next wave of snow, sleet, and rain and beat a track home again, but with photo in hand. Phew.
