@kjarn That's a long time to live in one home. I still have dreams about the house I grew up in, and my grandparents house which I spent summers and holidays at. Hope you are enjoying your new home.
@marlboromaam I am enjoying my new home although it still feels like I'm just staying over. Maybe once the house sells, I stop going there, I only have one set of keys and my mail stops being redirected it will feel more like home
@onewing unfortunately I’m not feeling very confident as the market is dropping as interest rates go up plus we’ve only had lukewarm interest. Fingers crossed
I was thinking of you in your new place just today and wondered how everything is going. It's a bit sad to sell an old homeplace - so many memories. I haven't sold mine yet. Haven't even got it ready to put on the market. Good luck!
I hope all goes well with the sale. It must be such an emotional time after living there for 35 years! But I know you will be making more great memories at your new place. Best wishes!
@randystreat it is very sad indeed, I really will miss both the old house, the neighbours and the area as it was a lot closer to shops, post office, train station. Good luck when you decide to sell, it's a huge job.
