I can't stop taking autumn-themed photos... it is just so gorgeous out that you know we are just doomed for an uber harsh winter. Then what am I gonna take pictures of? Praying for tons of hoarfrost...

@notsorandompics ~ Nice challenge - definitely something I've been wanting to try. We'll see if I can get any detail with my 200mm lens. I looked up the phases today and see that I missed the full moon yesterday.
I went out to see where it was tonight to plot for later in the week and saw it bright and clear, so took a couple pics, just in case I don't get something better. And while looking at the moon, I noticed the Northern Lights! I've seen them many times before further north, but never this far south, in the middle of the city, and at twilight! Amazing. So double thanks for the push. It was worth it even if I don't get a good pic out of it!
