Donna gave me a choice of challenges for this week's Get Pushed. I'm hoping to do both, but for this one, she asked me to do a "... "then" photo for a future photo shoot - by that I mean to compose something (probably with one or both of your children) that you will attempt to recreate in the future using the same (or very similar) clothing/furniture/prop".
I liked the parallel arms in this photo, and of course the sister kiss. I'll try to revisit this pose (with the fuzzy blanket and Nora in a flower shirt) again near the end of my project - I imagine it'll be a struggle to get them in the same pose!
@dhostick ~ Donna, here's attempt 1 at your challenge. Now I'm wondering if I should have gone with more props, but it's hard enough getting both girls in one photo looking good and I needed to lay them down as Nora's not sitting up on her own yet! I was playing with the monotone in-camera setting in prep for your other challenge. I've never used it before, so thanks for pushing me to get to know my camera better!
adorable....i love the way the little ones eyes are sparkling...and their arms in tandem.....just beautiful....look forward to seeing the repeat of this shot later.
