Happy Christmas! I must have been a good girl, because I got some fun new camera toys - including the Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro Lens - yipeee! I almost waited too long to try it out today, but made it out (into the very frigid -30ish Celsius day) for a test drive near sunset. Got a few close-up frosty photos, but this frosty tree and moon wins for my pic of the day.
My 2.5 year old daughter also got her first camera and was busy snapping photos. So cute to see her shifting from portrait to landscape for her shots and at one point announced "... that's my picture of the day"! Love it!
You got a macro lens! Woohoo! So happy for you! Can't wait to see what you so with it! This shot is really nice! I love the way the tree frames it on the side!
