New Orleans! It was a bit soggy for part of the afternoon on Friday, but we enjoyed views of the Mississippi and Jackson Square, some beignets and cafe au lait at Cafe du Monde, a wander through the French Market, and some drinks at the rotating Carousel bar before hitting the town for some more great food, drinks and live music.
I liked this solitary statue peering out through an archway in the French Market, with a vintage-style mural behind.
