Pacaya Volcano, Guatemala
Climbing an active volcano was one of the more adventurous things that we did on our Guatemala adventure - the darker area is the lava flow from the last eruption, a year ago, in March of 2014. We hiked down into the lava field ( see http://365project.org/kph129/extras/2015-05-01 ) and Dexter had his first ever marshmallow - roasted over a lava vent!
