A few surfers were out in the small waves off Bikini Beach today. This dog was patrolling the beach, scanning the waves anxiously, waiting for his particular surfer to return.
I've had to severely crop this as I was quite a way away. I'm still not certain I've presented the scene as best I can, so especially any suggestions on the crop would be appreciated.
I know NOTHING about photography but I had to zoom in even more because the optical illusion I saw looked like flying saucers in the sky behind the dog!!!🤣
Yes, I too was trying to figure out what it was flying over the dog. Maybe, shooting from a different point of view where the surfboard doesn't appear above the dog. Or, even cropping out the surfboard completely. Just the dog alone with the three different colors and textures (sand, water, and foam) behind him would have been striking.
