Found this feather on the beach and thought it was pretty. I managed to find half an hour to escape life and enjoy the sunshine this afternoon.
Sorry for my recent absence. Today is day 10 of my son having "bathroom" issues. We've been to the walk in clinic three times now, done stool samples and driven him to & from school multiple times per day sometimes. We're both feeling rather frustrated. Things seem to be improving slightly and I'm stuffing him full of probiotic yogourt and hoping things improve.
On the positive side, my cabinet man returned and FINISHED everything. Here's my completed and full closet if you're interested in seeing. http://365project.org/kwind/extra-shots/2013-09-25 The building inspector also visited today but because of two pieces of paper we have not yet been granted our final. Bureaucracy is so crazy at times. The boiler tester never left the paperwork and the gas guy used last year's form by mistake.
Its agonising for your son as well as you with this sort of condition! Hope they find out what is the problem. Good that you had a beach to go and wander and find these nice colours in the stones as well as the feather!
@kwind Responding here to not blow the 'surprise' on my pic ... you should totally do an Alaska cruise with your availability and able to get a last minute deal! Ours was a seven night out-and-back from Seattle on Princess, but I know there are a ton of Vancouver ones too. We really enjoyed it as an extended family trip (my parents, my boyfriend, and my sister and brother-in-law). Great way to see some lovely country, and the food and service we had were excellent too. If I could swing a last minute deal, it's something I would do again for sure!
@archaeofrog September and May there are great deals on repositioning cruises. We'd probably go out of Vancouver. I'm going to add it to my list. I remember your photos from the trip... amazing scenery! Did you have a room with a view??
@jacjacs68 It's funny that you should say that Jackie. I couldn't put my finger on how I was feeling but I was totally drawn to this feather and it's fly away bits.
@kwind Yes, we had balcony rooms, thanks to my parents. We liked it for the sense of solitude and view, but there were also so many places on the ship you could be too. Worth it for traveling with my introvert though.
Wonderful composition. FAV+
Sorry about your son. Hope his progress is swift with all of this soon in the past.
So sorry about your son--never fun!!!
Paperwork is nightmare some times. It will be worth it all in the end.
P.S Your son is going to hate you when he's older and some googles him.
