We were in Victoria for a two day swim meet this weekend. It was a strange meet in that there were hardly any kids compared to normal. Also, depending on your age the kids had to swim specific events rather than pick and choose like they normally do. Each kid swam either a 50m or 100m of each stroke and then their times were added up and prizes were given to the top three kids in each age category. Both of mine placed second and won a $25 gift Certificate to a local mall.
Happy Mother's Day everyone. We were done early and drove home in less than three hours and had our first weiner roast on the beach! It was a nice day!
Great shot. I love the movement of the body in the air, the untouched water shimmering and it's reflection in the goggles. Congratulations to them. Bet you were proud. By the way, what on earth is a wiener roast?
@ceilidh A wiener roast is when you cook wieners on an open fire using long sticks and then make hot dogs. It's a camping thing but we made a fire pit on the beach in front of our house.
