30 Days in June - Thursday entry. As I will be competing in a fencing competition on Saturday I needed to test my weapon & wire to make sure they are working. I decided to make this my selfless selfie as although I would only compete once or twice a year I do fence once a week for most of the year.
@olivetreeann Thanks. I started a few years ago because I have always liked films like Zorro and one's like that and wanted to do fencing only did not think it was a woman's sport. However I was looking something to do on a Wednesday night when I saw in my local leisure centre that there was fencing on Wednesday nights. I went along that first night to see could women do it and saw that it was a mixed class. The rest as they say is history.
