30 Days in June - Saturday entry. The women's foil final in Carrickfergus Castle (I was put out in the quarter finals so was able to photograph the final). I like how I caught the closest fencer with 1 foot of the ground.
Nice action shot- it almost looks like the lower fencer is about to flip the one with her foot up. Sorry about your loss- but I'm impressed that you do this!
@olivetreeann Thanks for your comment. I don't mind losing - it was not very likely that I would win as my opponent was ranked 3rd and I was ranked 6th but I kept her fighting for a while which is more important for me as there were over 20 years difference in our ages (she was under 18 and I'm 40).
