As I am trying to find my "style" in photography for half of January I will be concentrating on different "scapes" (eg Landscape, Seascape etc) as it might be tricky doing this for a whole month. For the 2nd half I will be concentrating on Architecture.
A good personal challenge Laura! I think style is not just the kind of pictures you take but how you see them in the first place. It also involves how you execute the shot and follow through with the processing- or none at all. I think you will have fun discovering this!
It is a worthy endeavor to find your photograhy style. I recieve several emails with photo articals. After reading a few of these, I looked back at my images and determined "minimalist/realist" are the terms that best describe my images. Look at definitions of artistic classifications to help your thinking. Rmember, it is not what you want to be, it is what are you doing.

@chapjohn John. I saw what you said about your photos being mostly minimalist/realist and wondered would panoramas also be considered realism as if so that could be my style.
@la_photographic I would encourage you to look at the definitions of artistic styles and compare your photography with those definitions to help determine your style.
