This is the hummingbird feeder that we have on the deck. I took this shot to to set my levels and all that jazz knowing that there was no bird around. I'd never seen a hummingbird so I wanted to be ready. Then I put away my camera and planned to set up a tripod to wait out a hummingbird some other day when it wasn't so cold and overcast. I sat on our porch swing and was watching Doctor Who on my laptop. I looked up and saw a hummingbird for the first time in my life. I plan to actually have my camera with me next time I see one!
