My parents and I went out to our normal spot for 4th of July but sadly no one came with us (as an only child I always try to bring a friend) but It's okay my camera kept me company. I ended up taking 415 shots of the fireworks and posted my top 25 of those on facebook where my friends (meaning my boyfriend after I asked him to go through them) picked their (his) favorites. This was during the finale.
You took my advice! I really like the way the fireworks and the smoke play off of the clouds at the bottom. Plus, it's just a really impressively focused shot of fireworks.
