In my youth I made balls of soil and added wild flower seeds then threw them out of the bus window onto inner city roundabouts hoping they would germinate and bring colour into the town. 50 years later my idea has ginally caught on !
A lovely idea! A few years ago the council in Rotherham planted a lot of roundabouts and central reservations with wild flowers. It looked beautiful, and saved money on maintainance.
