this is beautiful Laurie! i'm sorry about your daughter moving to SF - :(. The whole thing is hard to bear. My son is actually moving up there in a few months as well. At least we're closer though. . . maybe I'll meet you up there some time?
Very rich colours and pretty sun light! Gorgeous shot! Our peonies are finally blooming too. i cut some for the dining table tonight. Our plants don't get full sun, so they're not really full, like others I've seen, but we still get enough blooms to enjoy them.
