I don't live in an area that is conducive to street photography, especially in the winter. There's just not much going on around here this time of year. It didn't help that it was a gray, cloudy day.
i enjoyed catching up on your images, laurie! all is well here. getting back to "normal" after the holidays and enjoying some warmed temps after severe cold for a week or two around the holidays. i like your candids!
He's certainly expecting rain, walking the streets in his wellies! There's some good colour bursts in your photo from the lights, signs, jeep and hydrant.
i think this is a perfect, small town, street shot.

I just fell apart the last two days of the challenge. . .grrrrrr. At least you GOT a street shot - it perfectly illustrates a time and place - well done. Me, I was just on the phone with the bank, western union, etc etc etc. You get the picture. happy monday and keep shooting (saying to myself as well as you!) xox
The hair dresser I used to go to was in orleans. I believe about one street to the south and half a block to the east.... if this is the intersection I'm thinking of.
@l2lumom This is the intersection in the middle of Orleans. I was standing on the sidewalk next to the Mobile gas station. The rotary would be to the right of this view.
