I like your attitude. I've taken the Year 3, "Eh, I'll take photos and if I don't get anything today, I'll post another of the great ones I took yesterday." I still have a backlog of 4 or 5. ;-)
Looks warmer there than here. What's up with that?
Year 1 was how do I play the 365 game, making friends, improving skills, eye and learning to post regularly. Year 2 taking the photos I wanted, and posting what I liked, and commenting, commenting, commenting. Year 3 taking photos with techniques and cameras I like to learn, commenting less, but maybe giving more, and gee there is a nice sunset going off tonight hmm.
very inviting shot! I like you take on Year Three...As I try to post every day again, I struggle with wanting to post a "best photo ever"....gotta lose that. Ain't gonna happen. And now, I am going to choose my photos from the last two days!
@ellen That "best photo ever" thought process made me quit this project or take long breaks in year two. I still struggle with it, but I'm learning to let it go so I can recapture the joy of year one. I had a huge "aha moment" recently, which is why I came back. I had to search through all my photos for one I needed for work. In the process, I looked through alot of photos I took for 365, and realized that I would not have taken any of them if it weren't for this project. Obviously, my favorite ones were of family. So I've decided it's okay to post a boring photo or a less than perfect photo if I'm learning something new. Just post, is my motto.
I love looking back at photos and seeing the ones I took that "weren't good enough". Well, I thank you for your encouragement, and I plan to keep on trying. It really makes me happy to take photos. Then I feel guilty when I don't have time to comment on others' photos....but we'll talk about that on another day. :)
@ellen I had exactly that same moment of looking at photos that I deemed not worthy and thinking, wow, this is really good. The commenting can get crazy, but I'm trying to keep it close and personal this time around. It's funny how many of my friends now are my first year friends. Makes me happy.
this loks so cool - I'd lvoe to be able to do this at the end of a day! Love your commentry - it is what it is and it doesn't need to be any different - I really don't know how some folk in their third year have got the energy to comment every night! I'm finally chilling out in the world of 365 - think I've got thte balance right at long last!
it is so true what you write -- just take a picture for your/mine remembrances and if they turn out great - great!

I'm glad you're posting again!
