My third daughter turned 20 today, and we had a big family dinner to celebrate her birthday. Almost every birthday in our family is in November, December and January, so Julie marks the end of the celebrations until summer.
I like the nose piercing. My daughter got one when she moved away to college. We knew she would as she had been talking about if for years before that. Sadly, she removed it this past year after she graduated because she felt it wouldn't help her get a job. I liked it personally.
@webfoot For me, the nose piercing is the least of it. The five (yes five!) tatoos she got the second she turned 18 make me cringe. They are all discreet, but still...
@webfoot My son is already planning his first tattoo for when he turns 18 in August. So that will be three out of my four kids...Sigh...(I always spell that word wrong. I think it is a mental block).
@bkbinthecity I was just kidding, Brian. My Julie is about to celebrate her 5th anniversary with her boyfriend (and she is only 20). They are really well suited and I think a young love that lasts is one of the best things ever. To find a soul mate at a young age is such a gift. I'm so glad you found that.
