Australian White Ibis - backlit

watching (and photographing) the various ibises brings to mind wading birds - cranes and on depicted in Japanese and Chinese art, especially the wings on this guy

@bobfoto @lbmcshutter The first time I went to the Townsville dump it looked like it was alive. It was just a sea of white ibises. Lovely shot Megan, the wings look fantastic.
