St Stephen/King Stephen I of Hungary

I had forgotten how much I enjoyed shooting in b&w film until I scanned my old films. After I bought my first digital camera a Canon IXUS 3.8mp (which was big at the time) I felt the digital p&s in colour and the SLR in b&w gave me plenty of options.

Earlier this year I said I wanted to get all my digital files better organised, reduce dupes and get everything sorted. Still haven't done that and in scanning my old negs I have added to the collection of shots that I need to organise.

Going through these shots to share on here I am realising I no longer know (if I ever did) what all the places in my shots are. Lesson learnt is next time I travel I will take notes/record notes (smart phones can record those oral notes) and make notes/tag shots as I download them as much as possible. Would certainly be useful for future reference.

Nice capture. Like the detail of the horse.

Lovely B&W. I like the tower in the background too. Is that the fishermen's bastion? I don't recall the statue being there...
