Nankeen Nigh Heron

I went out in search of a king fisher colleagues saw about a 5-8 min walk from our office. I sat quietly and gazed into the trees and didn't spot him. So I wandered over towards the creek flowing into the sea and spotted this heron standing very still in the creek.

@jenrobcarr bit by bit I am seeing some interesting PNG birds. Even though there is a lot of jungle, I am not seeing as many birds as I did on Christmas Island. Plus I don't have the opportunity to get out like I did there.
